As technology advanced, we gained the ability to document life with little difficulty thanks to film — both still and moving. This led to countless moments being captured, each carrying the emotion of the scene and the vision of the photographer.
Yet, as time progressed and technology evolved, these cherished moments became relics of the past, labeled as "vintage" or "antique," slipping from our collective memory.
They are not lost.
Forgotten Media Foundation is preserving and archiving these moments of history in time. Through private acquisitions and generous donations, we digitize and preserve 35mm slides, as well as 8mm and 16mm film, focusing on individual and semi-professional collections.
